RULES
MTG Pro Tour Season
MTG Pro Tour Season is a competion with several Challenge tournaments. Each season, has the following exact number and order of Challenges:
- Blind Black Challenge

Every single Challenge awards points to each participant. Those points, from every Challenge, will set the ranking of each player.
Challenges will be played in a minimum 2 weeks and maximum 3 weeks interval.
Every challenge starts at 22h00. Late arrivals (no matter the reason) will be penalised with -100 points. No shows will be penalised with defeat in every match and zero points in the event.
In every event, deck shuffling must be "like a man"!

Challenge Rankings Tiebreakers:
If two or more teams are equal on points (or game wins) on completion of the challenge matches, the following criteria are applied to determine the rankings:
1.higher number of points (or game wins) obtained in the challenge games played;
2.higher number of game wins obtained in the challenge games played;
3.superior match win-lost difference from the challenge games played;
4.higher number of match wins from the challenge games played;;
5.If, after applying criteria 1 to 4 to several players, two or more players still have an equal ranking, criteria 1 to 4 are reapplied exclusively to the games between the two or more players in question to determine their final rankings. If this procedure does not lead to a decision, criteria 6 apply;
6.lower MTG Pro Tour Ranking at the start of the challenge.

Each player brings one black deck (only black or colorless cards are allowed). Decks will be randomly assigned, each round, to each player.
Championship event: All players play each other.
Match Win: Best of one game.

- Deck Master Challenge
Each player brings two decks. Each round, decks will be randomly distribuited to each player. Each player will use a different deck in each round.

- Battle Pack Challenge
One battle deck + 1 booster, per player.
Championship event: All players play each other.

Each player brings one white deck (only white or colorless cards are allowed). Decks will be randomly assigned, each round, to each player.

- Team Challenge
Teams of 2 players. Top seeded players will randomly team up with last seeded players. (Ex: 1st + 5th, 2nd + 4th and 3rd + 6th).

Match Win: Best of three games.
Sideboard: Not allowed.

Single-elimination (knockout) event.

Same decks used in stage 1. Decks are distribuited in reverse order of the standing positions from stage 1. Ex: 1st place plays with deck from 6th place, 6th place plays with deck from 1st place, 2nd place plays in deck from 5th place , and so on...).
Championship event: All players play each other.
Match Win: Best of one game.
Sideboard: Not allowed.

- Doubles Challenge
Each player brings one deck. Each player plays 3 rounds. Teams of 2 players randomly chosen (each player will have a different team mate in each round). Each deck is randomly distributed (in each round) by each player. Each team starts with a life total of 30.
Championship event: 3 rounds per player.
Match Win: Best of one game.
Sideboard: Not allowed.

- Decks All Round Challenge
Each player brings X-1 decks (X is the number of players). Each player will use a different deck (of his/her) on each round.
Championship event: All players play each other.
Match Win: Best of one game.
Sideboard: Not allowed.

- Rainbow Challenge
Each player plays with his/her own deck, with the following format: 60 card deck utilizing six cards from each color (single color) and six colorless artifacts. These six cards must have a converted mana cost ranging from one to six. 24 lands, four of each type of basic land and a maximum of four non-basic lands.
Championship event: All players play each other.
Match Win: Best of one game.
Sideboard: Not allowed.

- Weak Commander Challenge
Each player plays with his/her own Singleton deck (in other words, except for basic lands, each card in your deck must have a different name). Each player starts with a life total of 40. To build a deck, you first choose a COMMON creature, called a “ weak commander”, then construct a Singleton deck around it containing exactly 99 other
cards. Only cards of the commander’s color(s) and colorless cards may be included in the deck. Before the game begins, each player removes his or her commander from the game. You may play your commander from the command zone (no matter how it got there) for its normal costs plus an additional "2" for each previous time it has been played this way. If your commander would go to the graveyard or the exile zone from anywhere, you may put it into the command zone instead.
Single game event: Round table, all players play against each other, at the same time.
Event Win: Best of one game.
Sideboard: Not allowed.

Participation fee: 2 tokens
- Booster Draft Challenge
Each player is given three booster packs. Each player opens a pack, selects a card from it and passes the remaining cards to his or her left. Each player then selects one of the 14 remaining cards from the pack that was just passed to him/her, and passes the remaining cards to the left again. This continues until all of the cards are depleted. The process is repeated with the second and third packs, except that the cards are passed to the right in the second pack. Players then build decks out of any of the cards that they selected during the drafting and add as many basic lands as they want. Minimum of 40 cards deck.
Championship event: All players play each other.
Match Win: Best of one game.
Sideboard: Not applicable.
Number of players: >=4
Participation fee: will vary, according to the MTG Pro Tour Savings*. Newcomers won't benefit from the MTG Pro Tour Savings.

- Wizard Challenge
Each player plays with his/her own deck. The number one in the MTG Pro Tour Ranking at the start of the event (also called "Wizard") will be challenged by all other players (called "Challengers"). All challengers will play at least one match against the wizard. After that, challengers will decide if they want to challenge the wizard for another round. Rounds can go on until the round start doesn't exceeds 3h00 a.m..
Challenge event: "Challengers" against "Wizard". One round minimum.
Match Win: Best of one game.
Sideboard: Wizard: Not allowed. Challengers: 5 cards sideboard.
Number of players: >=4
Participation fee: 2 tokens
- Pro Tour Masters Challenge
Each player plays with his/her own deck.
Round-Robin Event (with top seeded players distributed) + Single-elimination (knockout) tournament.
Match Win: Group Stage: Best of one game ; Knock-out Rounds: Best of three games.
Sideboard: 15 cards maximum.
Number of players: >=6
Participation fee: 2 tokens
Each player brings one black deck (only black or colorless cards are allowed). Decks will be randomly assigned, each round, to each player.

Pro Tour Ranking
A player's MTG Pro Tour Ranking is based on the total points he accrued in the past 20 events (present or previous season). Check the section Challenge Points for more info about point distribuition.

Any amount that is left from the participation fees minus the challenge prizes, will be kept in the MTG Pro Tour Savings.
